JEE Main 2023 Session 2: Registration Count of Unique Aspirants Crosses 11 Lakh

More Than 3 Lac 25 thousand Fresh Applications Were Received for April

The application process for the Engineering Entrance Exam, JEE Main 2023 April Session, is underway for admission in the country’s best engineering institutes IITs and NITs. The application process for the April exam started on February 16. Around 9 thousand such students are applying daily, who did not take the JEE Main January exam earlier and are directly applying for the April session exam. More than 3 lac 25,000 new students have applied as of yet. The deadline for applications is 12 March.

The Number of Unique Candidates Crosses 11 Lakh

Career Counseling Expert of ALLEN Career Institute, Amit Ahuja told that earlier 9 lakh 6 thousand students of JEE Main 2023 Session 1 (Jan Session) had applied for the JEE-Main April exam while more than 3 lac 25 thousand new students have applied so far for April session. In such a situation, this year more than 11 lakh unique students have applied for JEE-Main-2023 during both sessions.

Earlier 8 lakh 66 thousand students had applied for the BE-B.Tech January exam and 8 lakh 22 thousand students had taken the exam, in such a situation, there is a clear possibility that the number of unique students will be more than 12 lakhs for BE-B.Tech in both sessions together.

The Aspirant Registration Could be 35k More Than Last Year

Compared to the previous year, there is a chance that 35,000 more students may register for the BE-BTech exam in the JEE-Main this year. In total, 10 lakh 26 thousand 799 individuals applied for the BE-B.Tech program last year, and 9 lakh 5 thousand 590 students took the exam.

More than 10 lakh 60 thousand candidates are anticipated to apply for BE-B.Tech this year. This year more than 95 percent of the students, who have applied, have appeared for the exam.
