JEE Main 2022 Session-2 (July attempt) Objection on answers of 25 Questions

Students filed objections after discussing with ALLEN experts, Six questions challenged for award of bonus marks

JEE Main 2022 Session 2 (July attempt) question paper, answer key and recorded response has been released by the NTA after which students have matched their recorded answer and answer key. Dr. Brajesh Maheshwari, Director, Allen Career Institute said that “In the JEE Main 2022 Session 2 (July attempt) examinations conducted in 10 shifts in 5 days, there was a mismatch in the answers of 15 questions in NTA’s answer key and Allen’s answers key. Apart from this, a total of six questions were challenged for bonus marks and there were 4 questions which can have answers in addition to the answers given by NTA. Allen experts have prepared the answer key after studying the question papers. NTA has given opportunity to the students to file objections till 5 pm tommorrow (Friday).

Maximum 12 objections in Chemistry

Students have raised maximum objections in the chemistry paper. Students challenged the answer key by filing a total of 12 objections. Whereas one question has been challenged for bonus marks. On July 25, the question of carboxylic acid in the morning shift and surface chemistry and atomic structure in the evening shift has been challenged. On the other hand, the questions of electrochemistry in the morning shift and general organic chemistry in the evening shift on July 26, general organic chemistry and coordination chemistry in the morning shift on July 27 and liquid solution questions in the evening shift have been challenged. Whereas in the evening shift on July 28, the question of F-Block has been challenged and bonus marks have been demanded in a question of polymer. On July 29, the question of solid state in the morning shift and stoichiometry in the evening shift has been challenged.

11 Objections in Maths

Students have raised objections to a total of 11 questions in the Maths paper. Whereas a total of five questions have been challenged for bonus marks. In the morning shift on July 25, a complex number and a question of 3D have been challenged for bonus marks. Whereas one question each of Vectors and 3D has been challenged. Similarly, the question of Binomial Theorem and 3D has been challenged in the evening shift on 26th July. In the evening shift on July 27, one question each from Quadtric and Vectors has been challenged for bonus points. Whereas in the Maths paper held in the evening shift on July 28, one question of vectors has been challenged and one question of mathematical reasoning has been challenged for bonus marks. Similarly, in the evening shift on July 29, a question of metrics has been challenged.

Only two objections in physics

In the Physics paper in JEE Main July session 2, students have filed objections in only two questions. One question from NLM has been challenged in the morning shift on July 26 and one question from Geometrical Optics has been challenged in the morning shift of July 27.
