  • Although questions based on Coordination compound, Metallurgy, D block, and salt analysis bear importance.
  1. Organic Chemistry
  • Miscellaneous questions appear in Organic Chemistry which covers all the topics so such students score more who study all the chapters in Organic chemistry.

1. Physical Chemistry.

  • Lay stress on Mole concept, Redox Reaction, Solution, Thermodynamics, and Atomic structure chapters.
  • Since Thermodynamics and atomic structure are also part of the physics so studying these topics can help student in scoring high in both the subjects.
  • If student stresses on any of the 2 components of the chemistry (Physical chemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry) then he can score decently in JEE Advanced.

2. Inorganic Chemistry.

If a student wants to score 50% plus marks in JEE Advanced for getting admission in a decent IIT institution then he will to have to study following topics in the Chemistry subject.

  1. Physical Chemistry
  • Mole concept, redox reaction, solution, thermodynamics, atomic structure, solid state, equilibrium, radioactivity and Chemical kinetics.
  • If the aspirant will do formula based study of the topics instead of the indepth study then also he/she can score at least 50% plus marks in Physical chemistry component.

  • Coordination chemistry.
  • Block Chemistry (NCERT only)
