JEE Main 2017 Notification: CBSE released Important notice regarding change in exam centre

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an important notice regarding the Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Exam (IIT JEE) Main Exam 2017.

The admit cards were released on Mach 14.

This year, the 5th Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2017 will be conducted on (Sunday) April 2 (pen and paper mode) and April 8 and 9 (online mode).

  • “It is to inform to all the candidates who are appearing in Computer Based (online) JEE (Main) -2017 Examination scheduled to be held on 08th/9th April, 2017 that the following centre address has been rectified with correct address of venue Examination Centre.”

Further, in order to counter the rush, the CBSE has provided two separate links for downloading of admit cards on its official website.

The examination will be held by the Central Board of Secondary Education for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc.

Selection procedure:

All those candidates who have successfully cleared the JEE (Mains) will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam round. Students will be allotted colleges on the basis of these two written exams.

Important dates:

  • JEE Main 2017 (Offline) exam: April 2
  • JEE Main 2017 (Online) exam: April 8 and 9
